Now, as we all know, @morrisons do a ‘HOLE’ brunch of different flavoured doughnuts, spotting fruit salad, strawberry, salted caramel. However its winter time and as you can all see, Gingerbread filled doughnuts have hit the shelves!! In concept, these are everything I have always wanted and more, but I just DOUGHNUT know what went wrong…⁣

Onto the good, the actual doughnut is FRESH! Like as a baked good goes, it was fantastic, really really tasty. The filling however, MEH. Whilst some bites got hints of gingerbread, the flavour just was not strong enough. I really was disappointed, and upset how they did not make them actually taste like strong gingerbread. Has anyone else tried this and had the same option? Maybe my local Morrisons are just making them wrong?⁣

Whilst maybe not my favourites, I do love how innovative they are, and look forward to trying more funky flavours inside a doughnut (please please please make Mince Pie flavoured ones @morrisonsprteam)⁣
