Why a Wispa gold spread does not already exist is a mystery to me! I decided to make the dream into a reality with this tasty, airy chocolate caramel spread!
Wispa Gold Spread
Oh what a golden day, and what better way to spend it than making some Wispa Gold Chocolate Spread! Step aside Bueno Spread, a new favourite is in town!
Equipment
- Electric whisk
Ingredients
- 400 g milk chocolate
- 5 tbsp sunflower oil
- 1/3 egg white
- 1 jar caramel
Instructions
- First things first, you will have to melt down the 400g of chocolate. I melt it in 30 second blasts in the microwave stirring between until a smooth consistency is reached.
- Add the sunflower oil and mix until combined.
- Whilst the mixture is still hot, add in the 1/3 of your egg white and whisk. The spread should turn to a mousse consistency. Don't panic if the chocolate seizes up, if it does then add 2 tbsp more of oil whilst whisking!
- Layer the caramel and chocolate into your jar! Leave for 2 hours to cool and then enjoy!
